Wigan Canoe Group organise trips to suit all paddlers of all ages and skills.

​Throughout the year we arrange trips for the following disciplines:

·       White Water

·       Flat Water  

·       Sea Kayaking

We also host the club social events to bring our members together.

The club organises a series of Club Paddles throughout the year, these include touring, estuary and sea trips in the warmer months and river trips in the colder months or when water levels allow. The club has a policy of NOT choosing a venue for most of these trips until the day of the trip for several reasons. Firstly we don`t know who is going to turn up (or not turn up!). Secondly, we need to ensure both weather conditions and river levels are suitable for all paddlers abilities. We want everyone to enjoy our trips so we normally choose the venue on the morning of the trip to give all concerned the best trip experience we are able to provide.
